We are thrilled to announce the dates of our 2018 series of in-conversation events around England, Scotland, and Wales. Funded by the British Academy and held amidst the collections and surroundings of fascinating military history museums and memorial spaces, the events will feature conversations between historians, war widows, and representatives of service and war widows’ associations. By bringing together historical research, political perspectives, and first-hand experiences, these conversations will reveal the stories of war’s forgotten women, past and present.
